OUR STORY
Networks are leaving the ground. Measurement has to follow.
DARA Telecom was founded to make 3D network measurements possible everywhere, at a fraction of what 2D measurements cost today.
WHY WE STARTED
Our founding story
Mobile networks are entering a new era. Space-Air-Ground-Sea Integrated Networks (SAGIN) connect satellites, aircraft, terrestrial infrastructure and maritime systems into a single, ubiquitous network. Coverage no longer ends at the last tower: it reaches up into the sky and out across the sea.
At the same time, massive MIMO is evolving into Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC), where the network does more than transmit data. It senses the environment around it.
Together, SAGIN and ISAC turn the network into something truly three-dimensional, and that demands a new approach to measurement. If you can’t reach it, you can’t measure it. Drone measurements are not new, but most are bulky and expensive to use, which keeps 3D measurement the exception when it needs to be the norm.
DARA Telecom was founded to close that gap: 3D measurements, possible everywhere, at a fraction of the cost of today’s 2D measurements.
THE SYMBOL FOR AIR
Our logo
Around 420 BC, Greek philosophers proposed that all matter is made of four elements: earth, fire, air and water. Alchemists later drew each one as a simple triangle. Air is an upward-pointing triangle crossed by a horizontal line, pointing up to represent the “active” principle.
DARA’s logo reimagines that symbol. Air is where we work: it carries every mobile signal, and it is the space between the ground and the satellites where our drones measure. The upward triangle is the network rising into three dimensions. The bar crosses past the triangle’s edge and turns upward, because we measure beyond limits.
